Film and Video Producer

Video has a unique power to capture an audience’s attention and make them feel like they’re part of the story. As a producer, I love to put together skilled teams capable of tackling all sorts of projects. Collaboration is a big part of what makes film so much fun.

When it comes to writing for the screen, I am especially drawn to human-centered redemptive narratives. If you’re looking for something that hits deep, conveys genuine emotion, and has a positive message, I’d love to be part of that project.

The Bridge (Film)

Charlie and Amir are best friends who live next door to each other. Their families come from opposite sides of the world. All the boys want is to have a fun summer of adventure, but the tension between their fathers, who experienced the Iraq war from very different perspectives, threatens their friendship.

I wrote, produced, and co-directed this film, completed in 2022. It was my first narrative film, and I had the help of a great cast and crew. Filmed over 6 long days in Cedar Rapids, IA, I’m proud of what we created together. Festival audiences and judges seemed to enjoy the film, giving it several awards.

CRPD for a video to help recruit community-focused, relationship-building new officers.

These are just a few examples of videos I’ve helped create. Most of my work is produced through my production company, Flow Media. I helped start Flow in 2015, and through the years I’ve had the chance to collaborate with some truly remarkable artists, mostly in the commercial video space. Flow continues to make commercial videos, but as a producer and writer, I am shifting more into the world narrative film.
